Smoky Lake Golf Club

Smoky Lake Golf Club is located just outside the town of Smoky Lake, 116 km northeast of Edmonton, Alberta. Our 9-hole course is well maintained and features beautiful & challenging greens. Originally designed by Sid Puddicombe, the layout offers players of all abilities a fun and challenging experience. Over the years our members have made improvements, and our course keeps getting better and better! The club has been managed by a volunteer Board of Directors since 1978, and over the years they’ve made significant changes like updating the sand greens into grass and in 2006 expanding the clubhouse. The kitchen was fully commercialized in 2009 and is open throughout the golfing season boasting an impressive patio overlooking the 9th hole and scenic White Earth Creek Valley. Smoky Lake Golf Club tests all the shots in your arsenal. With four sets of tees, picturesque holes, large trees, well-placed hazards, impressive elevation changes, and beautiful greens, our course is truly one of Western Canada’s hidden gems. We also provide a fully stocked pro shop, fleet of 40 power carts, 14 fully serviced (30 amp power, water and sewer hookup) RV sites, as well as practice facilities and rental equipment.
